You could call Jenn Brezden a cat lady as long as you leave out all the negative connotations that come with the title, because Brezden isn't old and she's no hermit. But she is cat crazy. She has eight cats - Tuna, P.J., Salmon Pattie, Miller, Pudge, Marlan, Little Bits and Sherbert - and has foster cats she regularly takes in through her involvement with rescue organizations like Kitten Action Team and Concerned Citizens for Animals.
With that in mind, one would assume her house to be zoo-like, but instead it's a comfy, beautifully decorated space.
It also smells very nice.
"I'm very neurotic, and I'm constantly cleaning cat hair," she says.
Brezden's home doesn't have the mess one would expect from a person with several pets, but it does have signs of an animal lover. Brezden has found a way to incorporate her love for dogs and cats into her decor without going overboard.
Besides the eight cats there's also a solo pooch, Tigger. The hyper Bichon Frise likes to pick fights with his roommates
"At night, it's always a fight to see who's going to sleep with me," she says.
