Colors pop at Todd, Inc. Hair Studio in Greenville. Most things, from the chairs to the floors and walls are black, white and red, so the one lime green accent wall catches the eye."We wanted something that was modern, a little bit edgy, but not too much over the edge because we didn't want to scare people away," says Janet Burns, who runs the studio with her husband, head stylist Todd Burns. "We just wanted a fun environment."
But don't expect the place to stay the same. Todd and Janet change the dιcor and the set up at least once a month, so by the time you have your next appointment, expect something new.
"We try to create an interesting environment," Janet says.
She says this staves off boredom, both for the clients and for the employees. The Etch-a-Sketch and a magnetic doodler in the waiting area help with this as well.
Janet and Todd also wanted the studio to be an inspiring environment for the stylists.
"When you walk in here you get a New York vibe and you get a very trendy atmosphere," Todd says. "The hairdressers in here feed off that artistic atmosphere."
