Andrea and Tim Johnson should know. When their son Seamus was born, their friend Chris Rose painted the nursery. Though Andrea and Tim gave Rose free rein when it came to the room, he opted for a Peter Rabbit theme to match the pillows, curtains and diaper bag Andrea made.

"He looked at my fabric," Andrea says. "Then he sketched on the wall with a pencil. It took about two more days for him to do the painting."

It took several days, but the results will last a long time. Neither Andrea or Tim want to change the room.

"I don't want to paint over it," Andrea says. "And it's not babyish, really. It's something that will last for a while."
