Recipe: Sour Cream & Chive Mashed Potatoes

    Ingredients
    2 pounds Yukon Gold potatoes
    4 ounces sour cream
    1/2 stick butter
    1 ounce fresh chives (or 1/2 a bunch)
    1/4 cup heavy cream
    Salt and pepper

    Directions

  • 1. Boil potatoes in water till they're tender (when you can stick a fork in and it comes right out).
  • 2. Drain and let the steam evaporate off.
  • 3. Quarter potatoes with the skin still on and mash.
  • 4. Mix in the ingredients.
  • 5. Season with salt and pepper.
